“A Walk, A Dog, and a Camera I Hadn’t Touched in a While”

It wasn’t supposed to be a photo walk. Just a bit of fresh air, a borrowed dog, and a quiet headspace. But I grabbed the D750 on a whim—first time in longer than I care to admit. No plan, no pressure. Just let the eyes wander.

Found this while walking through a tangle of early blossom. Something about the texture, the way light clung to those petals like it knew it was running out of time. Shot it quick, handheld, wide open. Didn’t overthink it.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is let the camera come along without asking it to prove anything.
